Grounded in Prairie practicality, guided by research, built for clinical excellence.
Lighthouse Child & Adolescent Clinical Training Institute provides research-informed assessment training designed to help psychologists, provisional psychologists, and graduate students develop strong foundations in ethical, competent, and defensible assessment practice.
Lighthouse courses are open to qualified professionals. Eligibility is set by the test-publisher qualification level (A, B, or C) each course requires — not by job title. Registered and provisional psychologists, graduate-level psychology students, and other appropriately trained professionals — resource teachers, social workers, counsellors, and mental health clinicians — are all welcome where they meet the required level. In Alberta, Registered Psychologists qualify at Level C through their registration, even at the master’s level, and Provisional Psychologists are admitted to our assessment training. Level 2 courses additionally require completion of Level 1, so everyone enters with a shared foundation.
